Avoiding scams

• Never pay to get a scholarship, a job or an interview. Upfront "processing", "reservation" or "visa" fees are a warning sign.
• Never share a password, a PIN, a code received by SMS or your Mobile Money code.
• Be wary of messages saying you have "won" or are "already selected" when you never applied.
• Check that the application link leads to the organization's official website. On Avenir, the destination domain is shown next to the "Apply" button.
• In doubt? Use the "Report" button on every listing. Reports are reviewed by a person.
