Avenir is free and will stay free. Here, in plain words, is what we verify, what we cannot guarantee, and how we act together against abuse.
What our verifications mean
We do not use a single “verified” badge. Each label says exactly what was checked, and when:
- Organisation identity checked — it legally exists.
- Authorised representative — the person publishing is allowed to do so.
- Listing reviewed — a team member read this opportunity before it was published.
- Official source — the information comes from an official website, with its verification date.
A verification can be withdrawn at any time. It guarantees neither a selection, nor a job, nor a visa. Details of each label
How we review listings and guides
- Every listing is reviewed before publication; automatic checks flag payment requests, promised outcomes and suspicious links to the team.
- Key study-abroad guide information (visa, documents, costs) is verified on official websites and then reviewed by a second person.
- Information that is too old is no longer shown as current: we send you to the official website instead.
- A listing whose deadline has passed is no longer presented as open.
Report fraud or an error
Every listing, organisation and guide has a “Report” link. Serious reports (scam, payment request, impersonation, fraudulent link, harassment, unsafe work) are handled first, and the content can be suspended during the review.
Your identity is never shared with the person or organisation reported. If you leave your email, we tell you the outcome.
How we protect your information
- You can browse everything without an account.
- We never ask for a passport, a bank statement or a password to view an opportunity.
- Organisation verification documents are private and scanned for viruses.
- You can export or delete your data from your account.
Recognising a scam
No one should ask you to pay to apply, or guarantee you a scholarship, a job or a visa.

Appealing a decision
Was your organisation or listing suspended? Reply to the email that informed you of the decision, or write to us with its reference. Another team member re-examines the case; a reinstatement is always approved by two people.
